Arcana Network onboards Quilt as a new mainnet Launch partner

Arcana Network has onboarded Quilt Chat as a new mainnet launch partner. It is a step towards our effort to onboard great partners and support them in their web3 journey.

Quilt Chat is a P2P decentralized chat service that aims to provide an efficient way of interacting in web3. Quilt allows users to foster community building and allow a free flow of information across multiple chains/networks. The current situation with web2 social media is appalling. You need to give away your data to interact with one another. Web2 giants then use your data and monetize it without letting you control any part of it. Hence we need a solution that allows us to interact with one another anonymously while controlling the data.

Quilt Chat aims to solve these problems by building it on the blockchain. Quilt chat solves interactions within web3 possible by enabling users to interact across different blockchains. They recently released a global chat, supported on Polygon and Tezos chains. The first interaction use case picked by Quilt’s team is NFT trading. Many users would like to chat with future owners or reach out to artists/owners to negotiate or barter. Along with interaction with NFT owners, they have started supporting minimal customizations.

How does Quilt align with Arcana’s mainnet?

In Quit’s vision of interconnected web3 mesh where people can socialize and transact, they will have to onboard users, create their wallets by assigning them keys, and store their data. Arcana Network comes in handy with a modular solution for all mentioned above. Arcana network’s web3 auth SDK can help Quilt onboard users with traditional web2 mechanisms like social auth or magic link (passwordless authentication), thus reducing the friction and helping them scale faster.

Quilt will also use Arcana Network’s decentralized storage to store user data onchain, allowing users to get 100% control and transparency over their data and manage it using their keys. This will help in their goal of being end-to-end encrypted. Arcana’s web wallet will help them assign keys to non-native web3 users without knowing how to manage keys. This will reduce their friction even further and thus help them gain traction with the web2 audience. As a part of our onboarding commitment, we will also be helping Quilt by supporting them in areas around product, growth, and community building and helping them launch on Arcana’s Mainnet.
